2010 Miss World Contestants now in China

Crowds welcomed the 120 Miss World contestants as they touched down at Beijing International Airport to for the start of their month-long tour of China. TV crews and photographers joined throngs of well-wishers to greet the young women.

While in Beijing, the representatives will visit the Badachu Park temple complex, walk the incredible Great Wall of China and enjoy a spectacular display of dance and drumming at the impressive Bird’s Nest Olympic Stadium.

After Beijing, the contestants will travel to Ordos in Inner Mongolia on 6 October. From there, they will visit cosmopolitan Shanghai before flying south to sunny Sanya for a series of events in advance of the Final on 30 October.
