Visitor: Samantha Ronson spent just over an hour at the Lynwood jail today

Lindsay Lohan received another visit from a familiar face yesterday - her ex girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The DJ spent just over an hour at the Lynwood women's jail in California after arriving at around 1:30pm.

When quizzed about how Lindsay was coping, Ronson snapped: 'How do you think she's doing? What a stupid f***ing question.'

After the visit Ronson, 32, spent around 15 minutes talking to the Mean Girls star's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, who had been sitting in her car outside the facility.
Visiting hours at the jail are usually reserved for the weekend, but it's clear an exception has been made for the actress.

Yesterday her mother Dina, 47, and sister Ali, 16, spent an hour at the jail.
One visitor who is not welcome - her father, Michael Lohan, who has been denied access to her.

But that hasn't stopped him from talking to the media and he has hit out at the legal loophole that meant she can take prescription drugs in jail.

The 24-year-old recently tweeted she didn't want him 'anywhere near' her, that she was in a 'great place' and he brings 'negativity' into her world.

But Michael said she was hitting out at him because of the drugs and his attempts to get her off them.

'First of all it hurts, but at the same time I realise this is coming from the girl I love and loves me,' he told CBS's The Early Show.

'She's saying she is in a great place and I'm bringing negativity into her world - but she certainly wasn't in a great place when she tweeted that.'

He blamed 'negative things' and people in her life for bringing her to this place.
'We have been fighting to get her off prescription drugs and that's the reason behind her tweets,' he continued.

'It's like taking candy off a baby, when you take the candy away they start crying and identifying you as a person who's taking something they like away.'

It has been reported Lindsay will be allowed to take drugs including Adderall, a psychostimulant used to treat ADHD, and sleeping pill Ambien into jail, among others
